The throne of grace

When I approach the throne of grace,
I tremble and I am amazed.
I see how the King turns his face,
To me and calls me “child.”

I see my sin in the hands of the King’s own Son,
Who bore them to make me His bride.
I see the Father turn his face away from him,
As his just wrath is satisfied.
